Ester foams resist chemical breakdown from solvents such as oil, fuel, and other cleaning solvents. These characteristics make esters perfect for automotive, industrial and marine environments where chemical breakdown can be a concern. The 2# and 4# Ester materials FR rating is UL94-HF1 compliant.
Our high performance polyester foams are available in both reticulated and non-reticulated pore structures. They offer a high degree of durability repeated compression or flexion. Polyester foams also have a high resistance to chemical breakdown, making them ideal for packaging and industrial applications.
